CPSC And Vecaro LifeStyle Announced To Recall Some Brands Made In China

On March 23, 2017, the consumer safety Commission (CPSC) and Vecaro LifeStyle has announced that those balance scooter made in China voluntary to recall the items.

The recall for the "Vecaro" brand, model, is the balance of Glide65, Drift8 and Trek10, commonly called floating skateboards. Self-balancing vehicle plate at each end there is a wheel, powered by lithium-ion batteries. Shell front bearing the "Vecaro" typeface, with black, white, red, blue and metallic gold, metallic silver, white, graffiti, and red flames. Glide65 and Drift8 models to the right of the two products, Trek10 model at the top of its flat-panel.

Products in November 2015 ~2016 year of the recall, in November of California Audio Shop and Stereo Zone, and an online shop selling 500, is priced at $300~400. Lithium-battery recall due to the product easy to overheat, smoke or fire hazard. Up to now, the Vecaro LifeStyle received 3 reports of lithium-ion batteries overheating smoking.
