DDOT said it can issue more licenses, allowing Washington to accommodate up to 17,000 shared vehicles.

DDOT Director Jeff Marootian said in a report that DDOT is satisfied with the shared transportation industry in 2019. We have created a level playing field for the eight companies that have obtained the license, and also created new modes of travel for the citizens. This will also benefit the development of the most innovative, safe and efficient shared scooter operators.

List of 8 approved operators: Hopr, Jump, Lyft, Razor, Ridecell, Skip, Spin, Wind.

The new way of travel is the trend of the times. The US government uses the system to guide and regulate, scientifically evaluate the capacity of a city, and then allocate the operators reasonably to create a healthy business environment. However, in China, sharing bicycles and sharing electric vehicles, etc., have no right to go on the road, why is this?
